Fee Information With Q.L.S


In complex cases we work on an hourly fee basis. These fees will be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%).

Our hourly rates are based on the prevailing National Grade 2 hourly rates.

These are currently (1/1/19)
Grade A 
£201 Solicitors and case Specialist/ Legal Executives with over 8 years experience

Grade B
£177 Solicitors and case Specialist/ Legal Executives with over 4 years experience

Grade C
£161 Solicitors and other Specialist/ Legal Executives with equivalent experience

Grade D
£118 Trainee solicitors and immigration advisors, paralegal and other fee earners

Disbursements
You will always be provided with cost information for payments we make on your behalf (such as court fees and translators etc) beforehand.
 
We will always seek to agree a cost estimate prior to the commencement of your case.
 
Should you cease to instruct us for any reason then you will be liable for all fees incurred to date and any fees necessary to ensure transfer of file etc.

Fixed Fees


In certain cases we offer fixed fees.

Please note that our fixed fees include VAT. Fixed fees are payable in full at the commencement of your case.

Should you decide to stop instructing us before the matter is completed then we will assess whether a refund of fees will be due. This will be calculated as a percentage of the work completed.

Disbursements
We do not include fees incurred for such matters as barristers, translators, home office charges, court fees, document delivery charges etc.
You will be notified of these when relevant and asked for payment before these charges apply.
 
Copy charges
We do include document copy charges for the first 50 pages but thereafter you will be charged at a rate of 5p per page

Payment Terms


Our costs are charged at a fixed rate and payable on the onset of your matter. A payment plan can be agreed with your Fee earner in exceptional circumstances.
